Uganda

In the future of Uganda, we believe that the government will stabilize enough to make Uganda become a second world country. After all of the conflict that has happened within the country, Uganda’s economy is growing and their government is stabilizing. The saying, What doesn’t kill you, makes stronger, really comes to life with Uganda. Their government is currently Republic and must be focused on to make this country a strong country, and even more stable.
Education in Uganda is good but not as good as most countries. 91% of people attend primary schools, and 73.2% of those people can read and write (http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/bgn/2963.htm). Education could be a big advantage in the future as the economy and the government grows in stability, creating those rates to go even higher.
The people of Uganda have a short life expectancy of 48 for males and 57 for females (http://www.who.int/countries/uga/en/). But we believe that when their education begins to grow and the young adults learn about the medical field, they can help their people by giving them an opportunity for medical attention when they need it.

UN LAW

All members of the United Nations must rule in order of this law under ANY circumstances; United Nations members must act upon any large scale matter of violence, no matter the Nationalism, race, culture, and religion to prevent from large scale discrimination and stereotypes world wide and to prevent from large numbers of human beings being killed due to the discriminating beliefs. Also any United Nations member must act upon any violence and conflict witness in everyday life throughout community. They must also take actions upon any complaints or warnings issued to them, meaning that UN workers need to at least check upon the concerns. If any number over 50 people must be considered a treat to human rights and must be considered the pre-signs of a genocide, when over 100 deaths from target and motivated murders occur this act of violence would immediately be considered a genocide in its earliest ages and must be acted on with any number of troops that can be sent out. This law cannot be bypassed by any country with a Vito power and the UN cannot refuse to help any country or racial group that are in the act of a genocide at any time no matter the amount of money and resources the UN can accompany for. If this law is broken a punishment can occur and personnel would be charged as equals with them who are responsible for the Genocide itself or whatever the supreme court feels necessary.

Rwanda Genocide

1. This genocide had a great affect on rwanda for most of it’s people in charge had eithe been killed or fled to other countries, this made it a even more unstable place to be at the time.
2. In 1994 is when the real rebuilding began when they a military brach establish a “ Government of National Unity” and tied it into 7 other politicial parties. The also created Genocide Survivors Fund and Human Rights Commission.
3. Government of National Unity helped to establish legal mechanisms for prosecuting and punishing those who were responsible for Rwanda’s genocide, the people were tried in either the international Criminal Tribunal or The National Courts.
4. The International Courts seemed to work much better because they were so much faster than the community courts, for the community courts would often be backed up in cases and this could cause a issue because it’s against their human rights to have a speedy trial.

Part Two

1. The UN officials received the warnings from a planner three months before the genocide actually happened.
2. The training in Rwanda was conducted in the open, The perpetrators of the genocide distributed weapons like guns and machetes openly. The government also aired hate propoganda through the radio’s and death lists were made and openly circulated with names and addresses of the Tutsi’s who would be murdered first.
3. The hate propaganda portrayed Tutsi as evil and manipulative people who were cockroaches and snakes and whose ultimate goal was to regain power and return Rwanda to a country that mistreated the Hutu people.
4. The genocide convention established a legal obligation under which the international community would be legally obligated to intervene and stop the violence, if genocide were found to be occurring in the world.
5. After the International Community withdrew, the militia intensified the genocide, targeting resisters and officials who opposed the genocide.
6. President Clinton says that the International Community and Nations in africa must share the responsibilty for the Rwanda Genocide.

USA AND CHINA

Austin Drouin
"U.S. relations with China is a necessary evil.
Adv. World Studies
Critique
12/2/11

The relations between the United States and China are often believed to be a necessary evil. China and the United States are extremely important trade partners and are very influencial to the many bordering counrties on both sides of the earth, however many things that are presented in both the United States and China make their relations with each other in terms a necessary evilsuch as oil depressions in the United States, and past things like the Bejing, China Massecure, and many other things that conclude problem in both countries.
The bejing massicure ( also know in China, The June 4th Incedent ) was a bloody military operation against the protest for democracy, on June 4th about three hundred thousand Chinese troops were sent in among about a million students from all about China's Universeries and schools. The Massicure lead an a unknown amount of deaths, This is a problem between China and the United States because this violates many of the human rights presented in the ( Democratic ) United States however the United States cannot confront China, for most likely they could take the issue to offense and there fore this would be a tradgety itself. The United States is extremly dependent on Chinese products and is in debt to China. There for making this a“nessassary evil”between the United States and China.
Sense the Beijing Massicure many things have happened in China that violate strict rules defended civil and human rights that would have been upheld if violated in the United States. These iccedents are often forgetton about, mostly because of the reason that the United States is powerless when enforcement is nessesary due to the fact the without relations with China, and Bordering countries the United States would fall powerless and “broken”.Without the oils and products shipped from China to U.S. The United States would soon be living off a very limited amount of oil, therefor sending prices for gasoline, diesel, and oil to skyrocket leading to a country wide depression.

The term “Nescassary evil”can be a very wide spectrum of opinions and beliefs. This term is often used to describe the relationships between the United States and China because of their many, often unserved battles and disagreements that could eventually lead to a world wide crysis. I believe that this term is accurate, and states a truthful fact because without China the United States would crumble and lose everything.

second movie

The middle east has been marketing from oils  and natural gases. Also arabs and others have been fighting for the equality of all and have been protesting against their dictators. Unfortunately if the US has a marketing partnership the US wont fight against the dictator because it’s profiting and benefiting from their resources and we don’t want that to stop. The fifth fleet is the most important fleet in the middle east because all of the oil shipped to the us flows through there. Most of that oil comes from the coast of Saudi Arabia. We arnt acting on the protesting because we don’t want Iran to benefit from changes we would of made.
